  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

(...) [...] Willy, Good summary of the past couple years. Two things I'd love to see are: 1) A side-by-side timeline of development and milestones for various LDraw tools. Somewhat like a Gantt chart. 2) A feature matrix of the various tools and the (...) (17 years ago, 9-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Custom Minifig Torso DAT files.

Re: James Jessiman Memorial Award for 2007 awarded to Kevin Clague

(...) Congrats, Kevin! You certainly deserve this award with all of the efforts you've put forth over the years. LPub and your work with flexible elements are nothing short of revolutionary for the LDraw system, and you're a swell guy, too! -Tim (17 years ago, 7-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Custom Minifig Torso DAT files.

(...) Thanks Steve, I took your recommendation and tried Quad2Dat. I can see what you mean about it being buggy (and incomplete).   Re: Custom Minifig Torso DAT files.

  Need for sample models

Hello all, I've been busy with the final stages of the LD4DStudio (www.ld4dstudio.nl) project this weekend. I'm currently looking into making some sample projects. But I'm not too much of a LDraw model designer. So I was wondering if some of you (...) (17 years ago, 6-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Custom Minifig Torso DAT files.

(...) Neat! (...) For further work on custom torsos, I recommend grabbing the program called Quad 2 Dat. This is a fairly easy 2D program, made specifically for people creating LDraw patterned parts. The main problem with Quad2Dat is that it's (...) (17 years ago, 6-Apr-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Custom Minifig Torso DAT files.

I have been working at creating some custom Minifig Torso DAT files for LDraw. I should preface everything by saying that I am NOT an LDraw Parts author.
