  Re: Part 791.DAT Window 1 x 6 x 5 Shutter too short

(...) I'm sorry Chris, but I thought by posting it to this news group, someone with your skills would pick it up easily. Guess I did not think twice. I needed this part for a model and wanted to make a good render so I fixed the width of this part. (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Hooklift Truck Poster

(...) And well worth it, too! Beautiful poster. Shame I only have a b/w printer... It's also a shame I have so many icons on my desktop...I can't hardly see the picture... Great stuff! ~Mike (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Math Problem Again

(...) Yes, I saw that, too. (...) Thanks for the offer, but I have already made a working spreadsheet. :) Now, all I have to do is try to automate it with some VBS. /Tore (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Wanted: Windscreen 41881 & x144

(...) Sorry. x144 is actually not there. I thought you meant the curved helicopter windscreen which is. The Windscreen 6x12x6 is actually Wedge 6x8x2 Triple which is almost the same part but for the little hook on the end I didn't catch in my quick (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Hooklift Truck Poster

Jeroen de Haan has kindly made a poster of my hooklift truck render and placed it on (URL) . Thanks Jeroen! I rendered the poster at a far higher resolution than previously to allow better quality prinouts; it took an Athlon XP 2000 over a week to (...)   LEGO Rubik Cube

To all AFOL's, Is it possible to build a Rubik Cube with standard LEGO elements? The 3D puzzles from (URL) Eric Harshbarger> and (URL) JP Brown's Cubesolver> inspired me to build the famous Rubik Cube itself. You can check it out on my webpage : (2 (...)   Re: Math Problem Again

(...) Hey! cool! where was this info when I wrote my calculator program? It would have made it alot easier. The calculator grew into a slightly different purpose though. it was for helping determine where to trim lines and quads at intersection (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Improving the Parts Tracker experience

(...) Or, as an alternative to right-clicking, you can also drag'n'drop part-links to a second browser window. Assuming you have enough space on your screen. For me, dragging tends to be easier to remember dragging than right-clicking. Steve (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: [Parts Tracker] PT-to-PN Authentication

(...) Yeah, no cookies. The only time I've touched any cookie code is in pnauth.cgi, and that's only retrieving a cookie already set. Steve (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: [Parts Tracker] PT-to-PN Authentication

(...) I'm not sure I'm understanding what you wrote, let me double-check. "3rd party cookie blocking" is like preventing google.com from retrieving a cookie set by amazon.com? If that's so, it's very odd -- the code in pnauth.cgi is not doing (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Math Problem Again

(...) (URL) you how to derive the equation of a plane passing thru the three points (x1,y1,z1) (x2,y2,z2) (x3,y3,z3) The standard equation of a plane in 3 space is A.x + B.y + C.z + D = 0 (where the "." means times) So given three points in space (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Math Problem Again

You are given three 3d cooridates. This makes a triangle in 3d space. The z values may all be three different, so it may be rotated in almost*) any direction. I am just interested of the plane; the surface it makes. Now, we have a forth point, with (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Part 791.DAT Window 1 x 6 x 5 Shutter too short
