'Faked' the Knights visored helmets with the motorcycle helment/visor (just 'stuck' a plume on top), did not get the flag 'sticker' right (don't have a good clear scan/pic of the original), and did not include wall/bricks stickers. I like that idea. If the default view is what you said (the [0.707104 ...] matrix), then a projection matrix of 1.4142,0,0,0,1.2196,...171,1.2247 in front of it would give the same effect as the original LDRAW default matrix. I began tinkering around with MLCAD again recently and decided to try my hand at rendering a LEGO set. I chose this little Adventurers set because it has always been one of my favorites. (...) How about if we just separate the shearing "oblique" projection transformation from the underlying modeling transformation? I'd be happy using this for the default matrix. 0.707104,0,0.707104,...5,0.612372 I think it's a 45 degree spin and a (...) (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Should we change the default view to be something that is (what is the word..."only made from rotation matricies and does not produce shearing"? det(A)=1?). It bugs me that the default is flawed that way, although there are some other (...) (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I'm not sure if I *want* to do this, I was just asking if it would be useful. I asked because I already added -cc and -ca (not sure what -cla is) to ldglite so I could move the camera enough to test my recent bug fixes. Since I tend to add (...) (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)
