(...) Right now, it's a monolithic project; there hasn't been any segmentation of tasks. That's mostly my fault; I haven't reviewed the progress Dan has made, so I can't say where there's a need for work. It's also an artifact of not having a good (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Introducing Hammerhead, another COG-shifting walking biped
|

Hi all, Just wanted to let you know that I've updated the TechPup site to include Hammerhead, a mono-engine, COF-shifting walking biped. I've also included the dat file plus printed instructions. Unfortunately, Vision Command will NOT work on my (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.cad)

Hi Matthew, I once played with converting parts to 3DMF files. I used Perl to translate them. It's far from perfect but read my message, some of the URLs are still live and lead to some graphics: (URL) this point it would be easy to export 3DMF from (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.cad)

Hey all, I've done a (not so extensive) search of the .cad groups and related web sites, and haven't seen this mentioned (though it may have been-sorry if that is so). Have the .dat parts from LDraw ever been collected into an archive of 3D objects? (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.cad)

HeeHeee! I have great faith in Tim that one day LDraw will become an open project, but I don't think it has ever been one in the past! :) As soon as the parts library is opened up, I promise I'll check it all into Sourceforge.org, so one can use (...)
