Re: New Subpart: chains1.dat: single link

(...) All of your type-"2" lines need to be changed to type-"5" _conditional_ lines. That is the way to do "edges" for "curved" surfaces in LDraw. For a example of type-"5" lines, look at the promitives for a Cylinder (1-4cyli.dat) and a Sphere (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Nice, but one quadrant looks a bit squirrely. I've been fiddling with double buffered model spinning in ldglite, so just to be sure I looked at in l3lab too. Don (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: General question

I downloaded the latest version of L3P yesterday from Lars' site, as well as the latest version of L3PAO from Jeff's site. I guess the LDraw text version made it to Lars' site? Joel <snip what I wrote earlier> (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad)

  RE: General question

(...) For the Kidvention LDraw banner, we (Tim Courtney, Terry Keller, and I) were debating putting "LDraw" on the studs of the logo brick to avoid copyright infrigement. IIRC, Lars made the missing letters and we created some renders using the (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad)

  General question

To someone who knows, I was just trying out L3PAO, in conjunction with MLCad, and noticed that the renders I got had "LDRAW" on the studs, not "LEGO." Is this something in a setting somewhere that I don't know about? I admit, I haven't read all of (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad)
