Here is my suggestion for an update of the part 756.dat. See my post (URL) a background story on why I think it should be updated. You may worry that this part, having more rounded shapes and more polygons, will make the rendering of a hose more CPU (...) (25 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) AFAIK, TLG hasn't said anything officially regarding LDraw or its parts libraries. I believe LDraw as a freeware program is well within its rights to contain SW elements as well. They aren't making official statements about it (IMO) because (...) (25 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I am using the color definitions from Anton's Lego library and these are the closest to real Lego colors i have seen. The only exception is black and transparent black that should be <0.2,0.2,0.2> Georg (25 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.ray)
