given the apparently poshish nature of this year’s venue (see the hotel’s

Great vigs!!!
Sadly, the Rocklands that previously was down the street from our former
beloved BrickFest site (aka GMU) is no more:

So even if we had BF at GMU this year, there would, alas, be no Rocklands. The
location, still a bar called “The Carpool In Arlington,” is still there, but
Rocklands has moved out.

Actually, the locals (aka Wamalug-ers) are further lamenting the impending loss
of our monthly meeting space at GMU, and even more, the loss of our “Chicken
Place,” aka El Pollo Rico, where Peruvian Style spicy rotisserie chickens are
the specialty. 8-(
