    Brokeback Mountain Vignette —Richie Dulin
As the tag line says: Love is a force of nature. In honour of our(1) Heath's nomination for an Oscar (r), I decided to build a vig of a scene from Brokeback Mountain. (URL) It’s a powerful and moving love story, and the performances of the lead (...) (19 years ago, 2-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.loc.au, FTX) !!

Re: Brokeback Mountain Vignette —Allister McLaren
(...) I'm not familiar with the film, but it sounds like a chick-flick. Meh. The way you did the 'pick-up' truck really takes the ol' 'slice of life' thing literally. IT'S JUST A TURN OF PHRASE. Cute vig, but I'm not getting 'love story' from it. (...) (19 years ago, 2-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Brokeback Mountain Vignette —Timothy Gould
(...) Wow! That's the best gay cowboy vig I've ever seen. Spotlighted! Thanks for sharing. Tim (19 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Brokeback Mountain Vignette —Clifton D. Chambers
(...) For those of you who are confused by this film it is the story of two homosexual cowboys that fall in love drift apart and enter into other heterosexual relationships (also known as being on the "down-low") before drifting back together. This (...) (19 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Brokeback Mountain Vignette —Allister McLaren
(...) Well, don't I feel like a fool for suggesting it be made 'more explicit'? Not that I object to gay cowboys or anything. I'm sure cowboy love is a beautiful thing, and doesn't involve whips or spurs or fried beans in any way. Anyway, thanks for (...) (19 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Brokeback Mountain Vignette —Matt Krotzer
Photoshopping in the words, "I wish I could quit you." would definitely gay it up a bit more and get the love story across more. Just my two cents. (19 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Brokeback Mountain Vignette —Greg Hyland
