Re: New MOC: Sphere (6.8 Stud Diameter)

I looked at this a while back, then saw the one at LLCA, then I decided I'm going to build a building that had tan Domes on the top, with smaller cone sticking out of the top (not gonna say what its for, its a secret), But there were no useable (...)   Re: LEGO sculpture: Miniature DNA

(...) Hah! That's the coolest. How elegant and simple. Wish I'da thought of that. I may have to duplicate something of the sort for a "coffee table conversation piece". :-) -Chris (21 years ago, 13-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Finally, an update to my Brickshelf folder.

G'day all, Well, it's taken a while, but I've finally gotten around to updating my Brickshelf folder. It now has a new section: Sculptures (hence the x-post).   Re: Another Classic Space Figure

(...) Inspired? Plagiarized is more like it. :-) I had thought about making him in black, but originally wanted to save that color for a gun, camera or metal detector. In the end, I scrapped them all and built the probe. I might still have enough (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Another Classic Space Figure

Ooo.. I like (and I'm flattered to see I inspired someone). I would have preferred to make mine in black, but black's very difficult to photograph. Oh yeah.. I'm still working on my ray gun and flag, so hopefully I'll have updates by the end of the (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: MOC: Han Solo in Carbonite (life size)

(...) That is freakin' fantasic. You've captured the pained expression remarkably well, and I particularly like how you did the hands. (...) Okay, that's just too cool. When you knock it over does it make the same bang the "real" one does? :-) Actually, a real question: does it stand on end? It'd take a lot less space that way and would make a cool permanent wall display. I hope (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
