Reminds me, I forgot to dot Cleveland with the first dot :)

Another borrowed idea. I just hope that there is enough resolution to
support the US population density - just look at South East England!
I'm now using three colours, Gold(3) dots to represent the two LEGO(r)
shops, and a gold square for LLW. Yellow(26) to represent a LEGO fan/Lugnet
user, and Tan(6) for multiple LEGO fans living so close to each other that
they cannot be seperated on the map.

Either population density dots, or just stacking them on top of one another
if there's more of the same from a given area.  I know at Brickfest there
will be many a dot from the Northern Virginia area.

I have tried both methods, and found the stacked dots don't photograph too
well, and are more prone to becoming dislodged.

Who is thrilled to see his idea expanded apon - if that is the case,
and equally impressed with your work if the idea was not 'borrowed'.

Expanded, although apparently subliminally.  Your map is still quite nifty.
I especially likely using the 2x2 rounds as islands.

Subconscious inspiration. Thought as much. The two are different enough in
style that they could have been conceived independently, yet similar enough
to be placed next to each other as part of that huge world map in brick
(with some 300 dots of ocean between).
