Hi, everybody! I'm happy to announce that one of my LEGO sculptures will be premiering at a art gallery in Calgary, Canada. Just to let people know... I'm not dead. I'm just a little busy. :-) (2 URLs) More Pictures> This sculpture was built using Bram Lambrecht's LSculpt utility ((URL)) combined with the Ldraw ((URL)) set of tools. (4 URLs) I decided to do something big for BrickFest2007. I ended up with two men, both dressed in tank tops and pants. One is kneeling holding the other person who is reaching skyward. (...) Hi Bram, An excellent example of the technique and software. As Ley said catching it at a diagonal is a brilliant way to break up any potential blockiness and show off the software. (...) If you run it in verbose mode (command line option -v), it should give you some feedback along the way (like the final size in studs) that might point out what's going wrong. I tried converting my Solidworks files to .STL and using them directly with lsculpt, but it didn't like them and only rendered an empty .ldr containing only the three comment lines like this: 0 FILE pulserifle23.ldr 0 Author: brep2ldr 0 I (...) (...) Bram. she's a beaut! I have to tell you, I just discovered your fantastic lsculpt app after readin this post, and put it to work right away. I successfully processed my BrickArms .STLs (after converting them to .PLY binary) and rendered some (...) (18 years ago, 11-Mar-07, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)
