I got to see this in person at NWBC 2003. It rocked my pants then, and it rocks my pants now. The use of dirty clear and trans-orange parts for scales is too cool. I always look at sculptures like this with a certain awe, hopefully soon I'll have (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
 
  Japanese Koi
 
Well, just for look see. Thought i'd post a link to a sculpture I completed not too long ago. Japanese Kohaku Koi with the Sandan pattern (URL) is roughly 3 1/2 ft in length. It has probably the right body mass size for a real koi of mature age, of (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.general) !
