Re: Hollywood Sign and Film Clapboard MOCs

(...) Great creations! I like them a lot and don't know how I managed to miss them at BrickFest. The clapboard in particular is awesome. That's just the kind of creation that would come in handy for a brickmation video. Throw in some foley sounds (...) (21 years ago, 23-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.animation)

Hollywood Sign and Film Clapboard MOCs

Below is a link to some pictures of my brother's Hollywood sign and film clapboard MOCs. He did bring them to BrickFest 2003 but wanted some comments or suggestions, be they good or bad. The clapboard is 4x34x26 studs of solid brick throughout, (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build)

  Re: Debut MOC, Terp Sculpture

(...) snip Anne He's actually pretty stable, at least in terms of standing still. It's hard to see in the pictures, but he has a somewhat long heel sticking out in the back. You can bump the table he is on, and he may rock, but in general won't (...) (21 years ago, 19-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Debut MOC, Terp Sculpture

Hi Daniel, Nice job! I really like the detail in the shell :) Have a question for you though: the feet seem kinda small, how stable is he? Very nice. I can't wait to compare gators to turtles ;) -Anne (...) -- For SCO to attack IBM using IP (\`--/') (...) (21 years ago, 19-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

(...) not do it justice. I think the overall form is proportioned well and the attitude portrayed by the head nails the personality of the character. I look forward to more of your stuff. Heh, now I understand why a significant section of MU's (...) (21 years ago, 19-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  DNA - Thanks Eric

Modeled after (URL) Eric Harshbarger's Mini DNA> model: (3 URLs) I opted for a more simple color pattern for the sake of appearance. Looks quite nifty as a deskpiece. Kudos to Eric - very nifty little design. (URL) (21 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.build, FTX)

Melbourne W2 class tram at Myer Melbourne

Browsing through Myer Melbourne (dept store) for LEGO bargains, I came across the following sculpture, and kinda liked it so I went back later with my camera: (URL) W2 class tram>> Here's a pic of the real thing: (URL) W2 class tram>> There's some (...)   Debut MOC, Terp Sculpture

Hello all, I've been lurking here for months, and am now ready to unlurk. Here is a sculpture of the Unveristy of Maryland mascot Testudo, which I finished in time to show at brickfest. This sculpture is just over 26 inches tall and used in the (...) (21 years ago, 16-Aug-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: The Magical Mushroom

(...) Thanks Adrian. Yeah, that was Nathan McDowell - I remember quite vividly his mushrooms and that wicked crazy house on chicken legs. Nice to be able to remember stuff from at least one fest. <you can all pity me here> :-) (URL) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)
