Hi all ! I received both "famous planes" from S&H. The are very cool. I guess that the next "famous plane" set should be the Supermarine Spitfire. Try to imagine this set in the same scale as both current sets ! LEGO please bring us this famous (...) (22 years ago, 26-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

well... a puzzle with thousands of pieces. many of the 'pieces' are simply 1x1 tiles on their sides and such.... they are just stacked next to one another... not really connected. eric (...) (22 years ago, 20-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Eric, awesome job! If I'm understanding all the posts correctly, this could be a jigzaw puzzle, right? The image is just made up of lots of smaller, and not really connected, parts? (...) Wow - that must have been quite maddening! Aren't you afraid of the parts falling out though? Did you consider using headlight bricks or an extra layer or something to hold the pieces together?
