As I mentioned here, I have
revisited my original trolley, and have made VAST improves to it (actually, it ended up being a
complete rebuild).
Cut to the chase pics here
Revisiting MOCs is something I rarely, if ever, do. Heck, I often loose
interest in a MOC in mid-build! I’ve at least a dozen half-finished MOCs laying
around:-/
But building our 12
wide trolley using newer sloped elements that weren’t yet created when I built
the first Trolley inspired me to have at the 8 wide version again. What a
difference! See the 2 side by side:
The newer one is much more faithful to the
original Trolley, but
to be fair, I was actually modeling from a
wooden toy version of Trolley
rather than from Trolley herself the first time around. Heck, I was shocked to
discover when I started looking for images of the original Trolley that her
sides were black rather than green!
I think the 8 wide version turned out great with even some
good schleiming going
on; here it is compared side by side to the 12 wide version:
Ross has already expressed an interest in Ldrawing it, so hopefully one day
we’ll post that.
