However if we reduce the width of the door by one plate as I suggested we free
up the 90degree requirement (which is why I suggested it). As such, I can't help

Hmm, I hadn't thought of using brackets but they could give the neccesary fine
adjustment to better layout the door pivot point. I'll experiment with this.

Well I haven't got anything planned yet for using the door (it was just a sort
of case study) but if I do I'll remember that.
