Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Hi Didier, I see so much potential in this technique. Seems a great way to do multiple angle adjustments in a small space. I'm sure I'll be using it at some point. Thanks for posting it. Tim (19 years ago, 1-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

Hi SNOTters, I was playing around with hinges tops and find this : (URL) I don't know if it can be usefull...the building is tight and allow rotation with friction : (URL) and repetition may lead to castle grilles, grids, gates... (URL) Jouez bien, (...) (19 years ago, 1-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX) !!

Redesigned models (looking back on 2005)

Hi all, It has been a while since my last post here. I haven't played much with LEGO in 2005, due to chronical health problems. I am - more than one year already - working on a LEGO technic project (in pursuit of Jennifer Clark an Kevin Clague), but (...)   Adaptive Sloping Track Module

I've just posted a drawing explaining how to extend a railway layout when the track slopes at the point of extension, without intrducing an excessive change of slope. (URL) is used in my new large layout, which will be 16ftx12ft (37x28 of 16x16 (...) (...) That weekend was totally ausgezeichnet! I was truly sad to see it end. Those were indeed "good times" Ben! But I must believe that even better times are on their way! Grüße to my schleimer friends HoMa, Rene, and Axel! :-) JOHN (19 years ago, 16-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: 2 SNOT-heavy MOCs: Open wagon and WAG-7 Class

Crap... Sorry about replying to my own post, but I forgot the credits: The loco headlamp was basically done by Tim Gould, (thanks!) and the window-as-ladder is taken off of Beat Felber's (URL) work>. Legoswami (19 years ago, 11-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

2 SNOT-heavy MOCs: Open wagon and WAG-7 Class

Well okay they're both CAD but I'm reasonably sure the construction techniques work. First on my list is this wagon inspired by the very talented misterzumbi's (URL) box car>: (2 URLs) Long story short: Tim G. figured the SNOTing used to get the (...)   Re: Odd brick SNOT

(...) In fact, each time TLC has produced a new part I've been amazed how the part fit well the System....how the part GEOMETRY fit well the System (I don't want to upset people about bleys). It's noticeably true when talking about SNOT parts. I'm (...) (19 years ago, 24-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.schleim)

  Re: Odd brick SNOT

(...) It's free for the taking. I'm trying to post things like that here in the hopes that other people will share their own ideas. If Erik Amzallag hadn't posted his fence-based window technique I could never have come up with the two segment (...) (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Odd brick SNOT

(...) Yep, the studs touch but it works just fine. By the way, this is an awesome technique, and I'll be stealing...er, borrowing...it myself, without a doubt. Derek (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)
