  Re: 9 ft Television Tower

I have always been a fan of your work, and the detail you put in to your MOCs, but this is amazing! I never seen a building this detailed! Even the little haus at the bottom of the Tower is extremely realistic. Still my favorite part is the (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Cornered roofs

(...) I have read this a number of times, printed it, read it in the bus. I am sorry, I cannot follow this. Appearantly, you have used it in your Mediterranean windmill. Are there any chances, that you can provide _any_ picture of this? Or someone, (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.schleim)

Re: Stairs built with 1/10 offset

(...) Cool. Thoa I have to say, the "stairs" appear as more of a ramp than steps to me. Mostly that is because Lego is so blocky, that when I see slight blockiness I guess I let my eyes smooth it out. Anyway, maybe its just me. Love the MOC thoa. (...)   Re: My first MOC in "bley"....

(...) Hi John, and now imagine that the hooks are actually done in SNOT technique! And think somewhat further: the trashcan will surely be filled with all kind of kitchen SCHLEIM sooner or later....   Re: Cornered roofs

(...) For that, I'd recommend sculpting a rounded roof out of plates. But, if you want something made from slopes, I have another idea I used on my Mediterranean windmill.   Re: A window using SNOT and SNIR techniques

(...) This is a great, I was wondering whether loading a .pdf would be worth it (takes ages on my PC) but I wasn't disapointed. I had not really noticed James method before but the half-stud-offset-and-tile method is even better! That's really nice. About the only thing that doesn't look "F1-enough" is the tires, and as an alternate model, you've got to work with what you get in the set. Very nice indeed. (...) Matt Chiles used this technique heavily in his roller coaster, and referred to it as "pony-eared" (the 2x2 plate is pony-eared into the 2x4 plate).
