I started this project last November and ran out of pieces, it was my freshman
year at college so I had to put it away and finish it later.  In May I ordered
the pieces to complete it.  It was finished the day before I came home for
summer.  I chose studs up orientation and ended up really liking the way you can
see the bricks and plates.  Now all I have to do is sit tight and wait for Lego
to produce more navy blue bricks.  It is 41.5" in length and 22" in height.
Weight is approximately 20 lbs., and I would guess it has anywhere from 2500 to
right under 3000 pieces. Enjoy:

A special thanks to Eric Harshbarger without whom this dream wouldn't be
possible.
