I first saw a Lego mosaic during the master builder tryouts about a year ago (no, I wasn't a finalist), and thought it was pretty cool. (...) Yep, pretty sure. I was surprised too. They sent old light gray, the new light gray (bley) and the old dark gray as three distinct shades (image below, black not shown). On your webpage you mention the following colours: "white, light gray, bley, dark gray and black". Are you sure that one of the colours is the new colour? Hi Janey, I was so impressed by your work (ALL YOUR MOCs blew me away!) at BrickFest 2004 in DC that I had to copy the idea of the stained glass windows! Since I'm more a brick technician than artist (like you!) mine is a bit more graphic than (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

(...) I can't toggle colour layers on & off (I don't really need that), but I'm sure you can do the same thing for studs-up mosaics. Well, since I have a background as a graphic artist, I actually use Photoshop to mess with the color balance, brightness, & contrast, as well as to reduce the color count and fine-tune the diffusion.
