I would really love to hear of any other ideas (like an all yellow statue)
that people have.

Just get hold of a very fine permanent marker, and put the smilies back on
them...
..or grumpies... or <insert emoticon of choice here>

Before long, you start realising that it's actually pretty easy to get the
printing off in the first place ;-)
