Hi everyone
I have come across some 'face-less' smiley heads. The eyes and the smile had
faded over a long period of time and now they are blank. I am not too sure
what to do with them.
As I collect mostly the castle theme, I have come up with 2 suggestions.
1. Use them under full faced helmets, and no-one will really know.
2. Create some 'conjured zombies', for my magical kingdom.
I would really love to hear of any other ideas (like an all yellow statue)
that people have.
Thanks
George Georgiou

| Here's my list of helpful and utterly stupid ideas for faceless minifigs... There's also a pattern going to, helpful, stupid, helpful, stupid etc. Use them as decoration on pirate boats, as in the back cabin area on the deck feed them to your dog, (...) Just get hold of a very fine permanent marker, and put the smilies back on them... ..or grumpies... or <insert emoticon of choice here> Before long, you start realising that it's actually pretty easy to get the printing off in the first place (...) | (...) Are you sure they are rubbed off, or might they just be from the pre-minifig era? Some of the town sets that came out just before the minifig revolution used the same extra-wide 1x1 round bricks that minifigs use for heads, but without any (...) | I have the same problem, I must have dozen of old heads that have been rubbed clean over the years. I would like to put new faces on them, but have done next to no brick modification or painting; and have no idea how to go about this. Can someone (...) | (...) I have several and I used them as pillars on a building. I haven't come up with another use yet. Basically, just use them as a brick. You can see how I used them with this link: (URL) is the pic called "store and toystore". Of course, feel (...) (23 years ago, 2-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

| (...) I can't speak for the yellow ones but the black (and grey) faceless ones are quite useful to trainiacs. I use 2 black heads in each dummy truck (simulated power truck) I make. And since 3 of my MTW models use at least one dummy truck, I use a (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

| (...) I do like George's post showing these used as pillars, but you would need a number of them for that. I have only a few of these (a small handful from the pre-minifig era, and then two or three from circa 1980 where the smileys wiped off from (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
