The black turntable (1.25"diameter -12 stud) placed on the 2 4x4 green plates, all found in the $1.99 Defense Archer poly bag #4811 makes a very nice display stand for a favorite figure. I have the Fabuland Lion holding the lion shield on this set (...) (24 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.castle, lugnet.fabuland) !

(...) Good idea! I'll bet the results are similar to the X-acto knife... I get some scratches but they're unnoticable from as much as 20 cm away... unless you stick your eye on it, it's pretty obsecure. <Uck... gory visions of me taking my eye out (...) (...) try (...) I've had good results taking a small metal nail file to minifigs and plates. Unless you're touching the pieces or looking *real* close, you don't notice the alterations... (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
