Quite a few of you have made mini-figs of yourselves and your spouses. • I
would love to do this, however here is my dilema, my wife is blonde.  I • have
never seen long blonde hair; come to think of it, other than Luke • Skywalker, I
have never seen any blonde hair.  What do I do?  Paint brown hair? Stick • a
cap
on her? Any suggestions would be appreicated.

Scott

hi
Warning this is only for the desperate ( or anyone who is avoiding a
deadline).
I have experimented with adding braided pony tails and pigtails made from
embroidery floss with limited success(i.e. my 10 year old approves ).  The
braid is attached by a thin thread which would be run up under a hat and
threaded thru the hollow stud in the top of the head.  Braid 3 strands
consisting of  3 threads or more each, secure both the top and bottom of
braid  by looping and knotting a couple of threads around bundle, then
secure again with minute amount of fray check solvent (or glue ).  Cut
excess thread used to secure braid f/bottom of bundle but leave it on the
top.  Trim braid to desired length now-both top and bottom, leaving long
only the thread which goes thru the top of the hollow head stud for
suspending braid from head.  Try to squish the hat on before the braid • falls
off/out.
I have since bought Padme hair for my daughter, so I am off the hook.  But
when my next deadline approaches, I will be at it again....
good luck!
