  Myrddraal Minifig

I had been meaning to build a Myrddraal for months now, and finally took the time to do it this morning. For your viewing pleasure, I present three pictures of a mounted Myrddraal from The Wheel of Time, complete with sword forged at Thakan'dar: (...)   Re: Help assembling minifigs

(...) There's no one place, but there are some references out there: For older figures, approximately up to 1997, many are shown by theme and subtheme on the Fibblesnork Guide at: (URL) guide has scans of actual figures. Brickset at (URL) has many (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: switching arms

(...) Good question. I've had similar problems. Unfortunately, the only pointer I've got is to only switch arms when necessary. :( Or insert small slips of paper between the arm-knob and the torso's arm-hole, to make a tighter fit. Steve (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  switching arms

Is there a best way to remove / add minifig arms so that they keep there original, tight enough to stay in place but not too tight, fit onto the torso? I've discovered that if you put the figs arms up over its head and the pry outwards with a slight (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: King Henry VIII and wives

(...) Gee, thanks Richard! Not a hero of yours, I take it? Definitely a Bad King. I think the nosepiece of the crown helps his expression - I tried a bunch of hats on him to approximate the tam he wears in Hans Holbein's painting, but gave up and (...)   Re: King Henry VIII and wives

Really, really nice! I don’t know why and I don’t know how… but you’ve really captured the disposition Henry VIII. I realize that the minifig torso you used is a standard pirate themed body. However, for some reason I see the King you created as the (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.castle)

Re: King Henry VIII and wives

(...) Hee! I just used the Madame Tussaud arrangement to show them off. If I do more with the Tudor theme I may set up the execution scene. I'm scouting around looking for pictures of Hampton Court. (...) Cool. Well yes, they were cousins, weren't (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: King Henry VIII and wives

Nice work, Heather!!! But shouldn't Anne Boleyn be shown "with 'er 'ead tucked underneath 'er arm"?? :-) Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 who is related to both Anne Boleyn AND Kathryn Howard on his mother's side... (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: King Henry VIII and wives

(...) Great work, Heather! I enjoyed them a lot. Even saved them to disk... -- Hop-Frog (I'm a poet and I don't know it) (23 years ago, 10-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  King Henry VIII and wives

I've put together figs of King Henry VIII and his six wives. (URL) of Aragon, Anne Boleyn and Jane Seymour: (URL) of Cleves, Katheryn Howard and Catherine Parr: (URL) Harry himself: (URL) they're not good likenesses of course, I tried to incorporate (...)   Re: Mime figure?? - FOUND!!

(...) It might not be the same one you were looking for and found, but a picture of my first mime mini-fig can be found in the following Brickshelf folder: (URL) know the mime, Iron Chef and Death mini-figs are not original ideas. However, I might (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Never mind - I found it on Brickshelf... I'll post pictures of mine as soon as I get my digital camera back from my sister-in-law. Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Mime figure??

I remember someone posting a link to a picture of a Lego mime, using one of the islander heds... could someone who still has that link please send it to me at bearitone@my-deja.com?? (...) Other than the obvious uses (I think this is totally cool for elves)... I think I'm gonna make you dremel a couple more of those, and then use a Belville fig to make me a Snow White and the seven (minifig) dwarves. ;-) -Shiri XFUT .belville (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.belville)
