  I AM Muffin Head!

  Re: Life on Mars Mini-Figs

The good: The minifig torsos are decent patterns, and the colors are for the most part pretty good. The bad: I really wish all of them had gloves and airtanks. And the face selection is getting old- I have far more of the "Doc" faces than I'll ever (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

  Re: Life on Mars Mini-Figs

(...) I don't have any LoM yet, but I hope to (being a primarily midieval-style builder, I'm not quite sure what I'll do with them). Nevertheless, I've studied them quite a bit, so here's my take on them: They are quite well done. Sure, a few are (...) (24 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

  Re: Life on Mars Mini-Figs

(...) I like the martians very much (though I don't have one yet). It's a cool and modular design, you can reuse the arms (and also the torso, I guess), for other stuff. And the faces look - well, partly mean, partly neat, anyway interesting. Well (...) (24 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

Re: Storm Trooper and TIE pilot heads!

(...) I (...) So, does anyone think that the brown head is leading towards multi-racial minifigs? Personally, I think the next step will be Lando. -Alfred (24 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Life on Mars Mini-Figs

(...) cool. (...) I have two, Assistant and Altair. Assistant is fairly good, I especially like the shiny blue visor. He needs airtanks to be a true Space figure, and of course gloves (altohugh some early Space figures were completely yellow....) (...)   Re: Life on Mars Mini-Figs

(...) I like the torsos. I think some of them should wear gloves, tho. ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

  Life on Mars Mini-Figs

I got my hands on the LOM Mini-Figs, and was wondering what others think of them. For never having very much space, I thought that these were pretty cool. What do you guys think? Rob robo2705@hotmail.com (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

  Re: Hey, it's me

(...) Interesting... in my neck of the woods, a "micromanager" is a boss who is looking over your shoulder and stopping by your desk every 5 minutes to see what you're doing. My boss, for instance. :^( ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Hey, it's me

(...) Eh... I'll see what I can do, but there isn't a minifig head with the appropriate level of anguish to reflect my worktime feelings. (...) I'm in much the same boat as you, I have conferences with vendors (all overseas) to do all day long and (...) (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Hey, it's me

(...) Sounds nicer than my real-life colour scheme, which I improved upon in the Lego version. Go for it, show us! (...) Yup, 8-footers. They're not bad for sound-baffling but not great. I'm a micromanager, which means I'm not important enough to (...) (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Hey, it's me

(...) I didn't even notice the mouse until you mentioned it in this post. Very clever! I have often thought about building a MOC of my cube and bringing it in to display on my little shelf, mostly because of the recent proliferation of tan and teal. (...)   Re: Hey, it's me

(...) Thanks! My favorite bit is hard to see: it's the mouse cord, which goes down through the hole in the desk and is coiled up on the floor, just like real life. I do like working in small scale - it means I can actually finish a project and it (...) (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Hey, it's me

I really liked this! It's living proof that MOCs don't have to be immense to be effective. And the idea of having a minifig as your pic is cool too :) Kampai! IronMike -- Michael Campbell, Madison, Wisconsin Samurai Warlord/ Minifig junkie (24 years ago, 11-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Hey, it's me

Well, I've done it - finally taken a knife to a LEGO part. I've been hankering for a plain minifig face with glasses for a good while, and the only one I've been able to find is the Divers technician guy, who of course has a microphone. I removed (...)   Re: SOME CUSTOM CASTLE TORSOs I have done

(...) custom torsos, but in the meantime it's nice to have professional graphic designer doing the work for me! ;) I'm wondering--are those large isolated falcon and lion (on the right of the shields picture) designed for ovoid shields? Right now I (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: The Gathering - A Minifig Class Picture

(...) Still, if that's what 147 minifigs looks like, I might be seriously underestimating my minifig population... They're an oppressed majority! eric (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

The Gathering - A Minifig Class Picture

Hey, All. Just for laughs I took a picture of all the minifigs currently in my collection, although that has increased since the picture was posted to the web. "The Gathering" can be seen at: (URL) this main picture, I hastily taped together three (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Running with Bionicle

I have proof that Lego is in fact doing their job! I took an idea they came up with and changed it to my liking: (URL) other stuff for these figs is pending... hoping to have pics by tonight or tomorrow. (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Star Wars Minifig Icons (was Re: Macintosh Lego Starwars Fans....)

I've been using their SW minifig icons for years already. Are these a new batch? Pay your shareware fees! (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.fun, lugnet.general)
