I really liked this! It's living proof that MOCs don't have to be immense to
be effective. And the idea of having a minifig as your pic is cool too :)

Thanks!  My favorite bit is hard to see: it's the mouse cord, which goes down
through the hole in the desk and is coiled up on the floor, just like real
life.

I didn't even notice the mouse until you mentioned it in this post.  Very
clever!

I have often thought about building a MOC of my cube and bringing it in to
display on my little shelf, mostly because of the recent proliferation of tan
and teal.

Your cubicle seems to have very high walls!  I wish mine did, it would drown
out my officemates more efficiently.

I do like working in small scale - it means I can actually finish a
project and it doesn't spend months taking up my precious building space.

Ack!  I know what you mean.  There are things I have wanted to build for quite
a while, but since currently my building area is a small triangle on my desk at
home, I either have to build vertically or very, very small.  Hopefully this
will change in the coming weeks, though, as I finish Project Perestroika (that
is, cleaning my room) and I can go back to building with my LEGO in it's most
basic state- on the floor.
