About that Gail Storm face... (y'know, brown, curly hair, sweet expression)

I really like that face. I have a character that fits the face really well.
After thinking out a bit more of my story (for .castle, developing slowly) I
realized that I'd want the same character wearing a different outfit and
different headwear. Well, I tried out different types but none of the brown
hairpieces fit the face at all! I tried a wolfpack cowl but it looks • extremely
silly.

I put a character together using that face with the Padme braids and witch's
torso - I think it looks OK. Have you tried one of those blue or black bandana
head wraps? (like the forest wench)

No, I haven't tried neither. Wish I had them (head wraps OR Padme braids ;-)

Being very influenced from the 'dark side' lately (ie I tend to think a lot
about customization :) I had an urge to use the second Gail face I have and
take off the curls. That way I could put a brown hairpiece on her at times,
and use the other, complete face when she's wearing a hat.
I was about to start and take off the hair with an Xacto knife, but then
chickened out...

Any thoughts about this? Has anyone done this, or something similar?

On the topic of modifying - I took a few witch faces a shaved off some of her
eyebrows and made that toothless cackle into a pair of beautiful lips. It
looks
kinda like a black haired Storm. Talk about a makeover - it looks good as a
unique female head.

Sounds good... I'd try, but I have yet to find any marker paints so haven't
gotten to painting pieces -- yet...
(I can hear Jeff Johnston Mwuahaha-ing in the back of my head ;-)

Yala bye,
Bill, Master of Shtuyot
