  Repairing minifigs
 
I discovered the other day that one of my older minifigs has some damage. This isn't really surprising - I think we're all used to the microfractures they get along the forearm - but this one goes from the waist to the armpit, right along the 'seam' (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.general)

(...) way to repair (...) Lion Rampant or (...) replace the torso (...) half and reglue, (...) Also, what (...) I'm not too sure which glue would work best but I can tell you how to apply it. Whatever you get needs to be a liquid. Get a small (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.general)

(...) <snippycanoe and Tyler too> Liquid model cement (*!*NOT*!* the kind in the orange or blue tubes) should work for this application, though I'd recommend hieing yourself down to your local plumbing supply and finding some liquid ABS cement. Super glue worked well for me. It can go on a little gobby, but if you don't mind shaving the excess off with an X-acto it should work rather well. Dave (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.general)
