Super glue worked well for me. It can go on a little gobby, but if you
don't mind shaving the excess off with an X-acto it should work rather well.

| I discovered the other day that one of my older minifigs has some damage. This isn't really surprising - I think we're all used to the microfractures they get along the forearm - but this one goes from the waist to the armpit, right along the 'seam' (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.general)
