  Brasso for the European set

Hey Y'all: Does anyone know of a European analogue for the product called Brasso in the United States? I was going to send some to a lego pal in Germany, but Brasso is combustible and therefore illegal to mail. I'd be nowheresville without my (...) (24 years ago, 27-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Hair

Hey there, Mark: S@H is rumoured to have 5393 Hats and Wigs in stock; this accessory pack has a plethora of wigs and an unfortunate number of hats as well. Still, it's better than trying to buy wigs on eBay and getting sniped. -Cheese (...) (24 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) S@H accessory set #5318 26 pieces $3 has 5 wigs. You can look for Padme wigs in the Star Wars Anakin Podracer set (approx. $16 for 1 Padme figure). Lastly, you can check out the sites that sell parts at: (URL) is probably where you should have (...) (24 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Hair

Anyone know where I can get some hair parts? The latest City minifig set comes with 6 figs, and all but one are wearing a hat of some kind. I suppose I can lurk on eBay until I see some hair auctions, but I'd prefer to just buy a few mini sets if I (...) (24 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Paint

I went by the ol' art supply store last night and got some. They work pretty well, though you have to have a steady hand because the tip isn't exactly fine point. Here's a pic of the ones I did last night: (URL) forgive the crappy webcam image. I'm (...) (24 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Paint

(...) Marvy-Uchida brad marker paints are great, I hear. I haven't gotten a chance to try it myself, but Craigo has a bunch of tips and techniques on his page: (URL) I'm going to hunt up some good marker-paints and then get to work on those Willas! (...)   Paint

Ok, I've searched through the posts, and near as I can tell, no one has asked this yet. What kind of paint do you guys suggest for making custom minifig heads? I'd love to make one of myself, but I want it to look good, and unfortunately model paint (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
