  Re: Hair

(...) S@H accessory set #5318 26 pieces $3 has 5 wigs. You can look for Padme wigs in the Star Wars Anakin Podracer set (approx. $16 for 1 Padme figure). Lastly, you can check out the sites that sell parts at: (URL) is probably where you should have (...) (24 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Hair

Anyone know where I can get some hair parts? The latest City minifig set comes with 6 figs, and all but one are wearing a hat of some kind. I suppose I can lurk on eBay until I see some hair auctions, but I'd prefer to just buy a few mini sets if I (...) (24 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Paint

I went by the ol' art supply store last night and got some. They work pretty well, though you have to have a steady hand because the tip isn't exactly fine point. Here's a pic of the ones I did last night: (URL) forgive the crappy webcam image. I'm (...) (24 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Paint

(...) Marvy-Uchida brad marker paints are great, I hear. I haven't gotten a chance to try it myself, but Craigo has a bunch of tips and techniques on his page: (URL) I'm going to hunt up some good marker-paints and then get to work on those Willas! (...)   Paint

Ok, I've searched through the posts, and near as I can tell, no one has asked this yet. What kind of paint do you guys suggest for making custom minifig heads? I'd love to make one of myself, but I want it to look good, and unfortunately model paint (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Custom head ideas

Hey Y'all: Someone recently commented on the removal of our beloved Timmy's nose and how much better he looked for the loss of this attribute. "tis true... Other improvements that can be wrought are the removal of everything but King Leo's eyes, (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Another New Minifig

(...) Actually, there have been plain green helmets in sets like the hang glidet and wind racers. Alan (24 years ago, 22-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: My Custom Minifigs

(...) Hey, great job! You got a nice set of minifigs to enact some future war scenes with your mecha and spacecraft! Now all you need is to create a stop-motion movie and you'll be all set! :-) ~Nick (URL) (24 years ago, 22-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  My Custom Minifigs

I have taken some pictures of the custom minifigs that I have. The sources of minifig parts include blacktron, explorion, rock raiders, and starwars sets. There are 4 races of minifigs that I have. The Blacktron troops are the most numerous and are (...) (24 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Custom Minifig: Skull Man

(...) The head design looks sort of like a Storm Trooper... (I don't know what Skull Man is supposed to look like, but it looks like you did a good job) --Bram (24 years ago, 20-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Colonial Marines minifigs (Was: I have a question.)

(...) Nope. Not possible. :-, I *think* I got mine from a bunch of Exploriens sets. The "normal" helmets in Exploriens are dark gray. Also, I got at least one from a train set, #4552 Cargo Crane (1).   Re: Starship Bloopers (Was Re: Colonial Marines minifigs (Was: I have a question.))

(...) When you lose the armour, you lose a big part of the storyline--the corporate angle--right? It was half the book, forcibly extracted. But in its own right, it was entertaining, if only as a parody of "gung-ho" war (sort of like ID4). (...) As (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

The hordes of bugs did look good, though. The landings were just boring. When (...) (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)
