(...) Even worse, their heads are open at the top, with part of the hat inserted into it. And their heads are connected to their hips too - I removed their heads by breaking their legs off! Excellent work! I've never thought of using epoxy putty to build up a custom lego element, but it seems perfectly suited to the job - I do use it for all sorts of other household repairs.
