Hi,

Neat website! And your links are fantastic, especially the ones to the Japanese LEGO sites. I desperately want to go there to score some cool LEGO stuff.

Anyway, my question is, have you ever considered using Rapid Prototyping technology to make your parts? It’s still very expensive, but it would cost less than making an injection mold. How many pieces would be in a typical “production run” of (let’s say) beards? More or less than 100?

You could probably pack at least that many in a typical RP machine’s build envelope. Stratasys Dimension makes parts out of ABS. You’d still have to clean them up, but they’d be pretty hard, just like LEGO.

But a new round of items is coming that I had suspected where being designed via some form of CAD and then mastered via something that (...)
