  Special Forces Clone Troopers

The Clone Wars has brought the need for the Special Forces of Clone Troopers that have adapted their skills and weaponry to the various types of planets and atmospheres where the Republic has to engage the Separatists.   Re: Minifig roundtable and swapmeet at Brickfest PDX

(...) does cross-reference sets, which is one thing I do want to do. I noticed there are some minifigs on legofigs.com that are not here (specifically a couple of promotional space minifigs). Also, is the database being used here something we could (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Minifig roundtable and swapmeet at Brickfest PDX

(...) Also there is (URL) for minifig parts/set information (although it does not track minifigs as such) (URL) TWS Garrison (URL) capital letters in address for direct reply. (21 years ago, 28-Dec-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  British Field Artillery

Things have been fairly quiet in Port Brique lately, but the British are reinforcing their contingent in the French colony with field artillery. So far, only one artilleryman, with a light field gun has arrived. (URL) He sports a custom torso, and a (...) I thought of a few solutions for a minifig Momaw Nadon/Hammerhead for the new Cantina set: (URL) Jeff (21 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Alien-style minifig

(...) Neat! I like the hammerhead look of the warrior. I think they would look nice in blue or green. Thanks for the idea. Marc Nelson Jr. (21 years ago, 1-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Sandtrooper Mods

So I bought the Cantina set and decided to clone the Sandtrooper with some mods for the backpack. (2 URLs) Regards, ACPin & Sons (21 years ago, 1-Dec-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Alien-style minifig

Technic and Town combine to create Space. Isn't that an interesting blend... I present: an Alien (kind of). (URL) head design can be widely adapted and has an amazing range of interesting possibilities. For instance, a warrior: (URL) how about a (...)   Re: Space helmet

My bad. I didn't notice the part where it says that the 2X2 round plate is modified. (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Space helmet

(...) I love it, I've always considered what it would take to use those domes on a minifig. I might consider going 'impure' for a Flash Gordonesque serial that's in the works. -Sean (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Space helmet

Here we go again, another great debate on purists and non-purists. It's kind of funny the way we (I include myself, i'm no different than the rest of you) see and use lego parts as if they had something holy in them :-) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Re: Space helmet

(...) Whuah??? I know the set designers have to modify bricks, since they usually end up designing new elements. A friend of mine was a set designer for a while, he designed the [LEGOSet 7130]and a few others... But Master Builders? We've always (...)   Re: Space helmet

(...) Mike specified that it required the modification of the 2x2 round plate. A correctly sized drill bit would open the axle hole up to a circular stud sized hole. Seems like an easy enough, and unnoticable enough modification to be doable by all (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Space helmet

How do you get the minifig's round neck to go through the + shaped hole in the 2X2 round plate? Is it maybe something that can only be done in CAD? (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Space helmet

With a little modification of a 2x2 round plate, you get an excellent Moon helmet... (URL) as slim as a normal helmet, perhaps, but it's more like what your typical cartoon Mars helmet looks like. ~Mike (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)
