LOL! I was gonna reply to the "nice" version and put up a pic of a belville
fig on my site, but you were too quick for me ;-)

I need to know if you can easily rip the "nice guy" head off of a Belville fig
and replace it with a scowling Technic head like the Cyber Stinger pilot or
the diver that Mark Koeberl put up in his 3 fig auction...

Yep, it's easy, and you can see the results on
http://www.geocities.com/shiri_lego/NonCastle.html

Or, is there a collection of pics of available Technic figs to pick and choose
pieces to build one from several (once I find the parts of course)?  I want a
tough, dark haired character to fit the part in one of my projects, blue
jeans, t-shirt with jacket.  Belville physique would be nice for realism, but
I would like the ability for the character to grip Technic accessories and I
don't think the Belville/Scala hands will give that much from what I have
read.

Belville hands have minifig-sized grip size - not the same as technic (I
think).
The hands of a BV 'fig and a tech fig are NOT interchangeable. I just
checked ;-)

Hope I'm not too far off-topic!

I think this fits better into the new .build.minifigs, so FUT there.

Thanks!

HTH!
