Re: Minifig Box #2, another update

(...) I think the first mod I will make to any LEGO pieces will be to take some minifig legs, and turn them from pants to shorts. Anybody got a good paint-match for LEGO Yellow? Steve (24 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Minifig Box #2, another update

(...) *wince* Ouch, Susan. *grin* Actually, what I did to differentiate the goalies from the regular players was to make the goalies with TimmyTorsos with green arms and white hands, green waists and black legs, while the other players have (...)   Re: Minifig Box #2, another update

(...) *smirk* I'm hoping that there are at least 3 left when said box comes to me; that's all I need to finish my TimmyTeam. The rest of the team looks pretty cool, even if they are slightly shorthanded right now. -Cheese NOTE: (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Knight in shining armor...

(...) Yup. One lamp reflector is slid down the neck in bowl fashion, then a brick, then the other lamp reflector sits facing down atop the brick stud. The feather is poked into a hole in that stud. %(|:^|) ;^) -Suz. (24 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Knight in shining armor...

(...) I figured it's made of two chrome headlights, like the ones in the front of <set:5771>. It took me a while to figure it out, though... (I think it was at least a year after first seeing it ;-) -Shiri (24 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) crystals...) (...) What about the helmet? is that a helmet that was ever releases or was it 2 hubcabs or something put together? Cj "the Puzzled" Catuogno (24 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: A minifig pack for EVERY theme

(...) Thanks! (...) Welllll.... I'm not sure I agree. There's quite a long way to go IMO between a 1x4 arch piece and a 5x6 castle wall. There are many pieces that are not quite generic that I couldn't live without (for example the said arches, as (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: New Pic of my Confederates

(...) They are not really that hard to do. So I would say there is no need for to buy them off ebay. It does cost alittle to buy supplies at first. I will try to explain the best that I can on the methods that I used in painting these figures. The (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: New Pic of my Confederates

Wow, These look even betterthan the earlier ones, although my fave is still the guy withthe sword. I'd buy em if they werein stores, not just because I like the idea of confederate troops, but there is an element of quality craftsmanship here. Those (...)   Re: New Pic of my Confederates

(...) These figures look great. They are some of the best custom figures I have ever seen. I would really like to know the supplies and process you used. With results like these I might try this myself! Howie. (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  New Pic of my Confederates

I just put up another pic of some Confederate soldiers that I just finished. You can check them out here (URL) let me know what you think good or bad? Thank you David (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: A custom X-men archangel ...

(...) What are you talking about? Go look around at custom Star Wars figures. No one says that it's someone else's design, you're inspired, but it's not like Craig owns the rights to a Flash minifig. And it's not like he used one of craig's methods (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Crowns, Native Americans and drills

(...) C'mon, Craigo -- you know I drilled a Padme wig, yes? You're not REALLY committed to modifying unless you sacrifice a Padme wig, or something else that's REALLY cool! =oP -- Richard (Nervously eyeing the Mayan Priests headgear...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: less messy getting rid of the print on minifigs

(...) I dunno, Shiri. This is pretty close to the old "injury to the eye" motif forbidden in comics some years ago. Too thrilling for young readers! It's probably against the Lugnet Terms of Use in some way too... -- Richard (no longer a comic book (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: A custom X-men archangel ...

(...) I have to disagree mildly with this, Pawel. I think at an incipient level, these darkworld3D minifigs are okay. Some good ideas there, but poor execution ruins a lot of them. I also think its an outrage to knockoff Craigo's stuff -- like the (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Knight in shining armor...

The chest plate armor element came from an Armada soldier in the Pirates theme. You can see him in this set, far right: (URL) are just dk gray body parts and a hook hand (also from Pirates). With so many more chrome elements, I bet it'd be possible (...) (24 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Knight in shining armor...

  Re: Freckle Face Head

(...) That's correct. The town head is smiling, while Anakin has a very serious expression on his face (straight-line mouth, that is). J (24 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
