For about 2 years now, I've been SLOWLY building up
a reference tool on minifigs, which I saw as kind of
a follow-on to the information presented in the old
Fibblesnork guide.
My site is at
http://home.att.net/~locker99/index.htm
What I've done, that I haven't seen done elsewhere,
is to show the figures both with and without anything
which substantially covers the printing -- helmets,
armor, etc., along with listing the sets where they
appear. Plus I went a bit overboard, making it "arty."
I know there's two other reference other that also
have many figures listed, but they show just the
"complete" figure, so torso printing or faces are
not completely visible --
These are Brickset at http://www.brickset.com which
just uses (mostly) scans of the instruction booklets
for minifigs (rather than scans of the actual figs)
and Minimundo Figuren (German and English language)
at http://www.minimundo.de/ Minimundo uses scans
of the actual figures, but always fully dressed with
helmets etc.
So the question is -- is anyone getting any value out
of Locker 99 anymore as a refernce for minifigs -- i.e.,
is it "worth it" to anyone for me to continue building it
up? I've had fun doing it up to this point, but it is
time consuming to put the detail work into it that I do.
Looking for feedback.....
