I was inspired to create figs of the Greek deities.

(...) see your announcement so I could comment on it. My favorite details are the legs of Artemis and Apollo, the winged feet of Hermes, and Zeus' thunderbolt. What were the sources of Hephaestus' torso and head, Hermes' legs, and those blue (...) (23 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) Leah - great job on the plastic gods. I really like your project of creating mini-fig versions of a range of deities from the same pantheon. My favorites are your depictions of Ares (great use of the torso) and Zeus (done up in the purple - (...) (23 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
