Hi everyone, I got a bug in my ear this evening to fool around with trying to recreate one of those tiny Japanese light tanks.   Re: Sorry if we have met under bad circumstances.

(...) In response to your letter, yes, I was trying to get into contact with you directly because being direct is the best way a person can get their point across in life. I also saw that you mentioned that you needed bright green and purple pieces (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Photos of Lindsay Braun's giant cruiser at BrickFest

(...) I have enough space to have posted one of my photos of the cruiser (named Takao, not "giant damn ship" as some have speculated ;) ) at: (URL) I also have a photo of its "current state," meaning, the only way it will fit on the two 30x60 tables (...)   Re: Sorry if we have met under bad circumstances.

(...) I have a suggestion for a nice helicopter for you to try and build, Daniel. Have you ever watched the second or third Rambo movies? I always wanted to build one of those Sikorsky helicopters, you know, the ones that look like the helicopter (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Of ABS and Lego Hinds

(...) It's really much more fragile than it looks, though: forming those plate hinges into inward-pointing Vs around the blades makes the shape flexible when attached but incredibly sensitive to knocks against any of the blades. Even an accidental (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Sorry if we have met under bad circumstances.

(...) Jesse, were you trying to send this to me directly? I just came accrss this post here, so I may as well respond. Thanks for the kind words on the Blacksmith Shop - I personally prefer my tavern over's Lego's diminutive Guarded Inn, but then (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Of ABS and Lego Hinds

Chris, you did that nice looking Spetnaz SOF Hind that was posted a while back on brickshelf right? That MOC, along with the afore-mentioned canopy parts, were my primary inspiration to try and tackle the Hind. The 5 bladed rotor mounted no your (...)
