Ugh, I'd almost finished a full post when *crash*. Let's try this again!

Done and done. I also added a link to Richard Parson's escort carrier, as
suggested. These are links that shoudl have been added a while ago, even. For
example, I've spent a good deal of time admiring Bryce's work, but never once
did my little light bulb go on and say to me "Hey, you should add some links to
these to the .military page!". So please, everyone, always feel comfortable
resetting my circuit breakers!

I thought about this, but I think we'd be fine. Even in those times when the
contributions are slow, we can certainly spotlight already-existing creations.
I did the math, and it turns out that we would actually only need about 12
models a year (well, technically 12 almost every year, except that every 1460th
year shoudl have 13 ...). Even if we never created another model, the links on
the sidebar could provide us with at least 5 years worth. And is there any
doubt that creations like the FdG (RIP *sniff*) need to be looked at and in the
forefront regularly?

I did a quick check of the items on the sidebar, and they seem to fall
primarily into WWII and Contemporary categories. We have a WWI creation
(actually, more than one, as we could add Erik Brok's tank as well), and
possibly an authentic ship or two from .pirates ... is that enough diversity to
warrant different groups? If so, I'm more than happy to go ahead with the
categorization. We could also do A/S/G, but another question comes up - what
do we do in the case where a builder has multiple categories: should there be
multiple links? Or only one in a predominant theme?
Well, just to get the ball rolling, let's get a nomination for a MMOTM. In the
future, I expect someone simply saying "hey, this should be the MMOTM" will
probably effect the necessary changes. But for this time around, at least, we
can try this - so, give me an idea! Maybe, as you're thinking about your
favorite model, weight newer MOCs a bit more heavily (?) ...

| (...) I don't think you are. In fact, I'll second it (or first it, if you're not allowed to). I absolutely love that JMSDF UH-60! So: ADD BRYCE PLEASE. There, it's official, and from someone completely without any tinge of egotism whatsoever. And (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)
