That's quite an extensive backstory you've got there...

...but it goes well with your well done Hind.  I like how you incorporated
the passenger carrying capacity of the Hind (a feature that I believe is
rarely used in real life) to make an all purpose SOF Battlewagon.  Also,
your use of the 2x2 round tile for the rocket launcher front is a nice touch
that I may have to emulate if and when that piece is made for MLCAD.
Additionally, the way you were able to achieve the slant on the stub wings
is seamless.  Nicely done.  You've captured the shape of the Hind well,
which is no easy task for anyone familiar with that particular helo.  All
the bumps and bulges really do make for difficult building, but you seem to
have been able to overcome this quite nicely.

If I have one constructive comment, it would be to get your hands on a pair
of those 2002 Jedi Starfighter canopy pieces.  Those, I feel, would
complement the rest of your already excellent MOC.

Oh, nice MGS reference as well.

Building in the passenger capacity was fairly easy; the passengers themselves were the real surprise. Hasn't anybody else used M-Tron backpack harnesses to give minifigs customizable carrying capacity? The Adventurers packs were a beginning, but I (...) As you can probably tell from the relatively austere photos, I'm not quite finished with this model; the tail profile and engine block still need some work, along with the mundane rifles and fanciful 30mm gunpod, but I've made enough progress that (...) (23 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)
