Heya'all! When building any sort of aricraft, one of the most challenging thing, is coming up with a cockpit that not only resembles the real thing, but also allows room for a minifigure. Many people have come up with ingenous way's of combating the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

very good idea! that the reason I've never been able to finish a WW2 fighter, I can never make the cockpit work! (...) The cockpit in my PB4Y-2 is fairly simple, but there is one key trick that you might like to include: using 1x2 plates with center stud to squeeze a 2-seat cockpit into a 6-wide space. I basically built a 5-wide cockpit and mounted it at 1/2 (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)
