Brilliant work as always. I think the turret is one of the finest ones Ive
seen since Carl Greatrixs work. Im most impressed by the amount of detail
youve conveyed with just a handful of parts. The vision port and remote MG
in this pic are
excellent examples of this.

Thanks, I somehow wondered if youd get a kick out of this!

Very interesting. I really like the tandem seating arrangement and the
overall shape of the turret.
Historically, the only tank that I can think of that had two large-calibre
cannons in a single turret is the
Maus. Im only speculating,
but I think the reason why the arrangement youre proposing hasnt been
implemented is because the breech needs to have sufficiant space for
ammunition loading and recoil. This was important in WWII for the Germans,
who were able to upgun the Panzer IV only after making adjustments to the gun
and ammunition (muzzle breaks, shorter rounds, etc.) Basically, bigger turret
ring = bigger gun.

I suppose another problem might be that since the guns are off-centre, the
recoil would jerk the turret to the right or left a bit, which could be
uncomfortable for the crew? The closest Ive seen to a tank with two main guns
is the Finnish Advanced Mortar System turret which has two 120 mm mortars - that
can also be used for direct fire.

Awesome! You really have a knack for making sleek turrets. I think you could
even add an acquisition radar to the back of the turret, without sacrificing the
sleekness. The opening hatch might be a problem though. :-(

Yeah, I need to find some way around that.

Cool stuff. Your tanks are getting better and better.
