   G’day all,

I’ve finally got some piccies together, and thought I’d try and get some input from other Lugnet-ers about what I’ve built (It’s not all that much), and any ideas that could be used to improve the models.

Although there’s not too many piccies, I think the ones there capture the vehicles well (I can always take more if people want). I can also possibly dig up the .DAT’s for the LDRAW images.

So, to see my efforts, have a look at:

Thanks,

Luuuuurve the barracks building - just fabulous. More pics of it would be, well, more fabulous :-)

Still baldly going...

Unfortunately, not long after I took the images on the site, the main Barracks building went into renovations...Good news is that the facade is still the same...bad news is that the floors and roof are under construction (LOTS of black 1xX and 2xX plates and misc tiles needed) and the back sections are in planning (LOTS of red 1x2 bricks:) ). That said I can possible get some more piccies done of the front, and the current state of the building.

Some info about the building:
Width: 128 studs
Baseplated Width: 160 studs
Height above baseplate: 26 bricks, 1 plate to top of towers
Depth: 40 studs
Planned depth: 104 studs (That’s right...it’s going to be a big bugger :) )
Additional area...I have walls at the front, vehicle entrance, etc. that should add another 128 studs to the width of the model...Unfortunately I’m going to have a little trouble setting the complete thing up at home...and transporting will also be rather problematic.

I’ll try and get a couple more shots of the building in an “as is” state so you can see what’s being done in the next few days.
