I'm fairly certain I don't have sufficient parts... but I may be able to
photoshop a rough composite of the two of them together... I'll see what I
can put together...

thank you... I actually was cramming it all in. originally the outer doors
didn't open very far, so I did a lot of work with other bricks as levers and
whatnot...

yeah, the .50 cal's main job is to try and destroy incoming torpedos. I
imagine the shells have a highly volatile propellant to counter the drag of
seawater, but it's still horribly inefficient. if I'd thought about it more,
I would've put it on the front of the tower, like the 20mm cannon is above
the surface.

hehe, if you look closely, you'll find that the AS cannon bears a striking
resemblance to the AA turret on top of the upper part of the tower. how's
that for recycling? move the barrels around and boom! new gun. I imagine the
AS cannon fires something bordering on mini-torpedos... probably
rocket-propelled explosive shells.

yeah, I couldn't figure out how to fit a hoist in there, so you'll have to
use your imagination on that one. (I wouldn't trust those guys to not drop a
torpedo trying to drag it up that lil' ladder)

thank you again.

I'll try,

| (...) Anthony- I really like your stuff in general. I'm a big fan of the technical/background info that you provide. The seawall, though, is in a class by itself for its originality. It's great to see such a great implementation of a brilliant idea. (...) (21 years ago, 27-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build)
