  Re: Armored Car

(...) A lot of fun, more will come in this theme (...) The hatch does not open, initially it was supposed to but in order to keep the profile of the turret down, i could not make a hole in the top for it to open. The turret is my favorite part too. (...)   Re: Armored Car

Nick, Having built only 2 armored cars or Light Armored Vehicles I can appreciate the transition from Castle to modern military - it can be a learning experience and a lot of fun. :) I like this MOC. It's got a good shape to it and there are some (...) (22 years ago, 2-May-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Sd.Kfz 9

Hi All, I finished LDrawing a model I built a couple of weeks ago - it's a German WWII 18-ton halftrack.   Armored Car

Normally I am strictly castle but after playing Red Alert 2 for a while I decided to try my hand at a nice military vehicle. My Block Motors T12 armored Car was modelled after a toy i found so I don't actually know what it really is: (URL) vehicle (...)   Re: New helicopter

This chopper is up for a rebuild soon, so ill keep all your suggestions in mind when i make it. If anyone is reading this, check (...)   Re: New helicopter

(...) Spencer, Overall I did not like this model very much. Based on your spacecraft, I think you can do significantly better. Now, before other people come rushing to his defence, to his huge credit, Spencer has specifically said that he "wont cry" (...) (22 years ago, 28-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

Re: a small slew of sci-fi-military MOCs

Nice lookin' slew there! Very clean lines, yet all-around creative, inventive topology. Nice modeling, good realization of ideas. Did you work from sketches/pics? --Dave (jot and jab) (...) (22 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Another Lego Interpretation (MOC: GDI Orca)

(URL) the link out there first. recently the building bug bit me after a long fit of builder's block, and I decided to build a GDI 'Orca' from Command & Conquer (a series of real-time strategy games from Westwood Studios). it didn't come out quite (...)   a small slew of sci-fi-military MOCs

story time: there is an online game called "NationStates" (www.nationstates.net) (created as advertising for the book "Jennifer Government", very simple game). anyway, along with this game there is a forum, where many of the players role-play wars (...)   Re: Anti Air Tank

(...) It's also availible in <set:8479> but alas only one and in white. Regarding the MOC I like it! Apart from the Taco Wheel it also uses the Technic cylinders - extra style points in my book! Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when e-mailing) (22 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) I never saw this part before. I have been trying to figure out how to make a decent gattling gun for over a year now. That gear is perfect. Too bad it is not easier to get. (...) -Mike Petrucelli (22 years ago, 21-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Anti Air Tank

(...) Wow. What a great use of a very unusual part! Jim, I love the look and feel of this vehicle. It's extremely "G.E.V." (from "Ogre") in its styling, and I love the rounded slopey bits. I third the call for interior shots! Interior shots! Yes! (...) (22 years ago, 21-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Anti Air Tank

(...) Soren, Thanks for the nod on my design. I will try to work on the stubbiness of the rotary cannon in the future. I have a few more ideas to flesh out so we'll see. As for more pics, see my reply to Keith :) Thanks, Jim F. (22 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Anti Air Tank

  Re: Anti Air Tank

I agree with Keith, more pictures! Interior shots especially. This little beauty has some exceptional design elements, such as the half-stud offset over the tracks. Really great rotary cannon assemblies too, although they look a bit stubby due to (...) (22 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.military)
