(...) Now that's some great stuff! All of the really neat vehicles and well thought out buildings. I can't wait to see all of them put together. That will be amazing. Great job Greg, keep it up and be sure to post when you're done! -Nick (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Check it out! (URL) Gregory Overkamp, who I've never seen post around here, has military creations! Well worth a look, IMHO. best LFB (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) heh thanks getting those cylinders to fit right took some time. Oh, and the bottom is well (...) yeah I would of liked to of added a proper landing gear, but getting it to fit, and making a cover to fit in with the rest of the smooth surface (...)   New Model

Heya Check out my latest model: (URL) called the F-39 Makko and it is my *supposed* replacment for the F-35 maybe 30 years down the road or so. It steals many design cues from the F-35 and F-22, as it is designed to be a stealth aircraft, but I (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Burned-Out Building

(...) Hey! It worked! That is exactly the image that kept creeping into my head while I was building it! That, and a post office design in a diorama at the Portland (Maine) airport, where they have a number of models on display. The one I'm thinking (...) My first thought is a flashback to the scene in Saving Private Ryan where the heroes encounter the French family stranded in their ruined home (just before one of the heroes gets shot (...) You know, so many (& myself) make buildings intact, when something like this comes along we forget that they're made out of little pieces. I've never seen any "damaged" Lego creations before. It's a very unique, and great building! (22 years ago, 4-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)
