Re: My army on field training exercise

(...) Great looking army Ken! Any plans for them to have an enemy/rival military opponent aside from the armies of other people? Anyway these are mine. They're used to illustrate a fictional modern and near-future world conflict heavily based on (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: B.I.Joe MOC: Water Moccasin

(...) Excellent! I only have three complaints: 1. The bricks simply don't exist to do this in teal, the proper color. 2. Headlight bricks built into the running boards would be great for providing minifig-style "pegs" so two more can come along for (...) (20 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: B.I.Joe MOC: Water Moccasin

Sweet, I love the green and what a wicked cockpit. The shapes are cool too, I like the round mixed in there with the bricks. The fan at the back is nuts. Cool gun too, awesome stuff. -Geordan (...) (20 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: My army on field training exercise

(...) Hello Bruce, Thank you for cross-posting. I knew it could be done, but wasn't quite sure how. Also, since this is mostly an array of minifigs... and a couple vehicles, it really wasn't all that ... I dunno, MOCish.. or perhaps creative or (...)   B.I.Joe MOC: Water Moccasin

Here's the newest addition to the B.I.Joe webpage. (URL) The Water Moccasin. Again this space is reserved for the apology to the spacers for posting to .space, so....I'm sorry, but it is a bit sci-fi ish :). Hopefully it takes a few of you down (...)   Re: My army on field training exercise

(...) Hey Ken, I've seen and admired your military creations on Brickshelf over the years. Welcome to Lugnet. -I've cross-posted this over to lugnet.build.military, as most of your MOCs would be discussed there. Bruce (20 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

(...) Thanks. My inspiration was the 6X6 from Macross (Can't find a pic right now). I think someone else may have used those smoke dischargers too, can't remember. (...) Yeah, I agree, but all the vision blocks I tried just didn't work. Once I (...) (20 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

(...) Thanks. I'm working on another Pirate SHIP, so we'll see if the lessons learned here can be applied. (...) Yeah, now that you mention it, it does seem that way. I don't think a ladder could be added without disrupting the flow of the lines (...) (20 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

(...) No, the underside is pretty much featureless. Thanks, I was trying to apply the Space Pirate style to a ground vehicle, nice to know it worked. (...) (Blush) (...) Always, man, always. Soren (20 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

Nice work Soren. I like how you made it all bulky and tough looking. The colours work, as do the greebles (gotta love those smoke dischargers). However, I think it needs a vision block. Or maybe more optical sensors, preferably in blue or cyan. (...) (20 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)
