The hatch does not open, initially it was supposed to but in order to keep the profile of the turret down, i could not make a hole in the top for it to open. The turret is my favorite part too. (...) | Nick, Having built only 2 armored cars or Light Armored Vehicles I can appreciate the transition from Castle to modern military - it can be a learning experience and a lot of fun. :) I like this MOC. It's got a good shape to it and there are some (...) (21 years ago, 2-May-03, to lugnet.build.military)

| Hi All, I finished LDrawing a model I built a couple of weeks ago - it's a German WWII 18-ton halftrack. (URL) neither of these color schemes are feasible yet - the hangup is part 6005, the 1x3x2 arches - which does not yet appear in tan or dark (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce.moc)
